Fire Sprinkler Fitter at Mon-Oc Fire Protection, Inc, Forked River, NJ

Seeking full-time, experienced Fire-Sprinkler Fitters to work on the installation of fire sprinkler systems for our projects throughout NJ. Our existing backlog of work extends through 2025. Current projects are located in Ocean, Monmouth, Middlesex, Union, Bergen, Cumberland and Atlantic Counties - we have work throughout the state..

Position requires travel to and from our jobsites. Typical work day is 7:00AM to 3:30PM on jobsites throughout NJ.

Sprinkler Fitters will be working on new projects installing sprinkler system piping, valves, backflow preventers, fire pumps, etc. All tools are provided by company other than hand tools.

Some on site pipe fabrication is normally required – therefore the ability to work pipe threading/ grooving machines is required.

Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and building plans is expected.

Previous experience, training and knowledge will determine pay scale as part of the in-person interview.

As a Fire Sprinkler Fitter, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems to ensure safety and compliance with codes and regulations. Reporting to the project manager, your core skills in pipe fitting, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in executing precise installations. Your skills in fire sprinkler fitting will enhance your effectiveness on the job. Additionally, your relevant experience in construction and fire protection will contribute to the successful completion of projects in a timely and efficient manner. Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
