Field Welder - ASME Code at Edge Outdoors, New Kensington, PA 15069

We are seeking an experienced ASME Code Welder to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing boilers and other vessels in accordance with ASME codes and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques and be able to work independently This is all local work and you will be home each night.

Field Welder / ASME Code Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install boilers and other vessels in accordance with ASME codes and specifications
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the layout and requirements for boiler installation
• Weld and fabricate metal components using various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding
• Repair and maintain boilers and other vessels as needed
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy

Field Welder / ASME Code Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience as a Boilermaker / Welder performing field work
• Knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and welding equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
