Refrigeration Installer at Subzero Refrigeration, Bowling Green, KY

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration systems, including installing refrigeration systems from top to bottom. This role involves installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various commercial refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Installing Walk in Refrigerator/Freezer Panels with refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial refrigeration systems.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and identify issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration equipment to ensure efficiency and longevity.
• Repair or replace defective components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and controls.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform welding, plumbing, and other necessary repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various refrigeration systems.
• Familiarity with Refrigeration systems and appliance repair techniques.
• Ability to read schematics effectively for troubleshooting purposes.
• Experience with commercial refrigeration is highly desirable.
• Proficient in welding and plumbing tasks related to refrigeration systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week
