Boilermaker/Fabricator at Cochrane USA, Fredericksburg, VA 22408

Responsibilities

• Product Fabrication
• Fabrication of various gates, posts, brackets etc
• Installation of fencing and gates
• work with plasma machine frequently
• General structural and mechanical maintenance
• Mainly work from the factory but will also need to be flexible to travel to sites to perform remedial work for extended periods up to 2 weeks.
• Operate various machines including but not limited to; press brake, plasma, guillotine, lathe, mill, drill press, mig and stick welder, bandsaw, various power tools etc.

Requirements

• WELL EXPERINCED WITH WELDING AND FABERCATION
• General mechanical knowledge
• Plasma Machine Knowpledge
• Skilled in mig, stick and tig welding
• Must be able to read blueprints and execute requirements
• High schools certificate with after school certificate/diploma in a mechanical or structural trade.
• Can work with layouts and developments
• At least 2 years experience as a fabricator/boilermaker
• Good communication skills
• Competent in the use of excel, word, office.
• Can take initiative to find various solutions to a specific problem.
• Works well with others
• Trustworthy and Reliable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Shift:

• 8 hour shift

• Fabrication: 1 year (Required)
