Maintenance Boilermaker/Pipefitter at EXCEL USA, Plaquemine, LA 70764

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Boilermaker/Pipefitter to join our team. This position involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of boilers, piping systems, and related components in various industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Boiler Installation & Maintenance: Assemble, install, and maintain boiler systems and pressure vessels in compliance with safety standards.
• Piping Installation & Repair: Lay out, assemble, and install piping systems for a variety of applications, including water, steam, and gas.
• Welding & Fabrication: Utilize various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick) to fabricate and repair boiler and piping components.
• Inspection & Troubleshooting: Conduct regular inspections of boiler and piping systems to identify issues; diagnose and resolve mechanical problems to minimize downtime.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations and repairs.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and quality assurance.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance and engineering personnel to address complex issues and implement system improvements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
